Deacquelyn Rogers Staff Photo

Hi, my name is Deacquelyn Rogers, the 9th grade ELA teacher. The prospect of being able to have a positive impact on a child’s life and learning spurred me on to pursue my goal of becoming a teacher. After graduating from W.P. Davidson in 1995, I went to the University of Alabama where I graduated with a B.S. in 2000. I later received my M.B.A. in 2006. I moved back to Mobile in 2010 and great things have happened since my move. I am married to Marieo Eaton and I have a 10-month old named Mariea Eaton.

I am excited to be a part of one of the best schools in Mobile County, Ben C. Rain! There is no job better than teaching. Each day is different, and children are a constant source of amazement. They are fun to work with, and watching them learn and grow is extremely rewarding. Every day is an adventure. In addition to working with children, it is very rewarding to work with their parents as well. As partners in your child's education, we can collaborate to help your child succeed!
