B. C. Rain defeats W.S. Neal

Michael Nevels returned the opening kickoff 82 yards for a score and added a 34-yard TD reception from Brian Bush to set the tone for B.C. Rain's 42-7 rout of W.S. Neal at Ladd-Peebles Stadium Friday night.
Bush also passed 10 yards to Khiary Hill for one score and received a 49-yard touchdown pass from Omar Smith.
W.S. Neal countered with a 39-yard TD pass from Ashton Elliot to Will Herrington to break a nine-quarter scoreless drought by the Eagles.
Ledarrius Sigler wrapped up the scoring for the Red Raiders with back-to-back interception returns of 40 and 65 yards for touchdowns.
B.C. Rain (4-5, 3-4 4A Region 1) meets Davidson Thursday at 7 p.m. at Archbishop Lipscomb Field. The Eagles (2-7, 0-7) host T.R. Miller in the Battle of Murder Creek Friday at 7 p.m.
