As the principal of B. C. Rain High School, I am proud of all the students and adults in the building. Both receive an exciting experience through daily interaction. We have a tremendously dedicated staff that see the students as individuals and understand that each of them have the potential for greatness. Our goal is that the adults and students help each other to bring out the greatness in one another as people. The theme for the 2016-2017 school year is “Back to the Basics.”
The staff at B. C. Rain is committed to providing our students with the best education possible. Collaboratively, the staff has decided to focus on teacher performance, student performance and school culture. Through this, high expectations will be set for our students and teachers.
We will remain focused on ways in which our school can continue to accomplish its mission to provide an education that encourages each student to function at his/her highest level. Our learning environment will foster learning as a life-long and rewarding process. We expect our entire school community (in and out of the building) to be committed to excellence and achievement that is renewed at the start of each school day.
This year, our AP scores have shown an improvement. We will continue to strive to meet and exceed national standards. We are excited about the U.S. World News recognition of Best Schools. We will need your continued support and assistance in meeting set standards and expectations. We ask that you assist in making sure that your child is at school on time each day. The school day starts at 7:00AM. Breakfast is served from 6:45AM-7:00AM.
I would like to thank the members of the board, the superintendent, parents, faculty and community members in supporting our efforts to provide the best education possible for our students here at B. C. Rain High School.
